have the following options:
Colonial Beach Trolley

First Priority Transportation
Description: From Montross or Oak Grove to the Fredericksburg
area, daily service. Fare: $5 each way. For

Bay Transit
Description: On-demand bus services for the Northern
Neck. Pick-up at your home, office, or other locations. Northern
Neck Service Areas: Lancaster, Northumberland, Richmond, and
Westmoreland Counties. Fare: $1 each way within one
county. $2 each way when crossing county lines. Scheduling:
Call 24 hours in advance to schedule a ride. Toll-free calls to (866)
445-8916 in Richmond County and (877) 869-6046 in Lancaster, Northumberland,
and Westmoreland Counties.
Maryland Transit Administration
From Southern Maryland to Washington, D.C., The Tri-County Council for
Southern Maryland's Commuter Assistance Program offers commuter bus
services from Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary's Counties (Bus Route 901
from La Plata and Waldorf). Call (866) RIDE-MTA for details, or visit
Route 901's information here.

Transportation Survey
To better gauge Northern Neck residents' views on the region's transportation
options, the Rideshare Program conducted a detailed online transportation

2006 Colonial Beach Transportation
Survey
The town of Colonial Beach, in Westmoreland County, Virginia, asked
the Northern Neck Rideshare Program for assistance in conducting a survey
